Brad Borst


Brad joined the Trust in 2017 as president. He is a U.S. Marine Corp veteran with a conservation career that includes work for the Montana Environmental Information Center and Montana Wilderness Association. As president of the Trust, Brad brings a long-standing passion for wild places and working with a diversity of people to protect wilderness for future generations. Brad holds a MFA from the University of Montana, and is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at the University of Washington Foster School of Business. Brad is based in Helena, Montana.

Aimee Rutledge

Vice President and Senior Lands Specialist

Aimee joined the Trust in 2009 as the California Program Manager. Her experience includes serving as executive director of the Sacramento Valley Conservancy.  Previously, she was a founder of Friends of the Sacramento River Greenway. She worked with the American Institute of Architects as Director of Governmental Relations, and served as legislative advocate for the California Bicycle Coalition. She holds a BA from Pomona College. Aimee is based in South Lake Tahoe, California.

Kelly Conde

Senior Lands Specialist

Kelly Conde joined the Trust in 2020. She is an Idaho native and grew up exploring the state via raft, skis, and hiking boots. She is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, having lived and served in Morocco for two years. Kelly’s conservation career includes work for the Sawtooth Society and working as the Conservation Manager for the Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust. Kelly holds a BS in Environmental Science from Montana State University and a Master’s degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Journalism from the University of Montana. She is based in Pocatello, Idaho.

Lisa Janeway

Director of Development Operations

Lisa joined the Trust in 2013. Working in the non-profit arena for her entire career, her focus has been on outdoor recreation-based stewardship and land conservation. She worked for organizations such as the Tahoe Rim Trail Association, Colorado Mountain Club, Quebec-Labrador Foundation, Great Basin Institute, and Hurricane Island Outward Bound School. Lisa holds a Master of Forestry degree from the University of British Columbia and a BS In Environmental Geoscience from Boston College, and is based in Evergreen, Colorado.

Margosia Jadkowski

Director of Marketing and Communications

Margosia joined the Trust in 2022. Originally from Maine, her work has focused on connecting communities to the landscapes around them through community-driven conservation and recreation projects. Her past experience includes organizations such as the City of Savannah, Georgia, the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation, and Whitefish Legacy Partners. She holds a master’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard University, and a BA in Geology from Colby College. Margosia is based in Whitefish, Montana.

Tasha Deardorff

Operations Manager

Tasha joined the Trust in 2024 as the Operations Manager.  Prior to joining the Trust, she worked for the United States Department of Agriculture for roughly 21 years. Tasha has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Management. In her free time, she can be found running, hiking, camping and generally exploring with her husband and dog. Tasha is based in Helena, Montana.
